Information About eCareerFairs Visitors

eCareerFairs does collect information about all of our users; such as what area users visit most frequently and what services the users access the most. This data is only used to benefit you the user. From this data we can determine what is most beneficial to the user and how we can better the users experience.

Information about You, the eCareerFairs Visitor

In some instances, such as when you enter a resume, enter a contest or respond to a survey, we may ask for information including but not limited to the following: name, address, e-mail address, telephone number. We may use this information to alert you of new products and services or upcoming events.

General Information Disclosure

We do not disclose information about our visitors to eCareerFairs, or any personal information, such as name, address, email address, telephone number, etc. to any outside parties, except when we believe the law requires it.

Resumes on eCareerFairs

eCareerFairs is a career event site. Depending on an event you are registering for you, the visitor, may be asked to upload your resume as a part of registration process.

Your posted resume is searchable only within events for which you have registered and is available for viewing by all recruiters participating in those events as well as event host organization.

While recruiter users participating in our events are carefully selected by event hosts, we are not responsible in case a third party acting as recruiter, evades screening or security measures and gains access to list of event attendees, and subsequently, your resume. You may request that your resume be removed from our database at anytime by closing your account or deleting your resume. However, recruiters and event hosts who have paid for access of our services may have retained your resume in their own files or databases. We are not responsible for the retention, use, or privacy of resumes in these instances.

Furthermore event host organization has a right to export your profile including your name, contact information and resume. This information is not made available to any other organizations directly. However once exported, the information is no longer in our control and we are not responsible for the retention, use, or privacy of resumes in these instances.

Comments and conversations during events on eCareerFairs

Any conversations or comments you make during events are saved and retained for a period of 3 months after event ends. This data can be exported by individual recruiters and event hosts for the purpose of talent acquisition needs of their respective organizations.

Updating Account Information

eCareerFairs allow you to change or correct your personal information at any time. To do so, simply log into your eCareerFairs account, and you will find options for editing the information you have submitted.

Data Retention

Unless you expressly request to delete your data the eCareerFairs we will store your data for a period of time. Retention period depends on the type of data

Job Seeker Data Retention

Job Seeker Account and Resume

We store this data for 1 year after your last site access date.

Events and Event Activity

This includes conversations, comments, event registration. We store this data for 3 months after event date.

User Activity Details

This includes any activity that can be traced to your account. We store this data for 6 months after activity occurred.

This data is not user specific, but rather a summarized data that cannot be linked to your account. This data is not deleted.

Employer / Event Host Data Retention
